The Bhaucha Dhakka to Alibaug ferry is operated by M2M Ferries using a RoPax (Roll-on/Roll-off Passenger) vessel. Unlike the passenger-only catamarans at Gateway of India, this is the only ferry service that allows you to bring your vehicle — car, motorcycle, bicycle, or even your pet — from Mumbai to Alibaug.
The ferry departs from Bhaucha Dhakka (Ferry Wharf) at Princess Docks, Mazgaon, Mumbai and docks at Mandwa Jetty on the Alibaug side. The sea crossing takes approximately 60–75 minutes. From Mandwa, Alibaug town is about 20 km by road (~30–40 min).
